The McClure Scholarship Application process remains open. You are eligible to apply if
- you have been an NYONEL member for at least the past two years and
- if you are enrolled in an accredited educational program leading to a Bachelor of Science in Nursing, a Masters or Doctoral degree or Post-Masters certification with a concentration in Nursing Leadership or Nursing Education.
The NYONEL Board has designated $10,000 for the 2019 scholarships. As noted last month by Jennifer Withall, recipient of one of last year’s McClure Scholarships:
“Returning to school as an adult learner is not easy. Aside from the financial implications of that decision, there are other considerations such as the impact on one’s family and being able to strike a balance between all aspects of life.”
