The American Nurses Association – New York (ANA-NY) is proud to partner with the American Nurses Association (ANA) and the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) in a national dissemination effort called Project Firstline. Project Firstline is an interactive series of free online tools that give nurses and other healthcare professionals the training and information they need about infection prevention and control (IPC). Its resources are designed to help understand and confidently apply IPC principles regardless of previous training or background. Their goal is to provide access and promote the implementation of these national standards of IPC through the dissemination of learning materials to all health nursing education programs and direct care settings.
