Fee Schedule

Photocopying

All photocopying of materials will be done by staff at the established charge of $0.15 a copy. Single copies are made for the researcher’s personal reference only. Copies of records are not to be sold or further reproduced or published without permission of the archives and of the copyright holder. Markers for identifying materials to be copied will be provided upon request. The number of copies made at any one time and for anyone used may be limited because of limitation of staff or facilities.

 

Photograph Fee

A use fee of $50.00 per photograph will be charged for the use of photographs from the Center for Nursing History’s collections in a published or printed product. The use fee may be waived for students or researchers engaged in a published or printed product or for students or researchers engaged in a not-for-profit activity. Additional fees will be charged for the duplication or scanning of a photograph (up to 300 ppi).

The fee will be for a one-time use of the photograph and will be in addition to the cost of duplicating or scanning prints. The fee must be paid upon receipt of the duplicated prints or scanned files, not when they are actually used in the for-profit activity. If the photographs requested from the Center for Nursing History are to be used for commercial purposes, please indicate on the Use Form below. The patron assumes full responsibility for conforming to the copyright laws and for securing permission to use the photo from the copyright holder.

  • Citation required for photographs is “Photo courtesy of Bellevue Alumnae Center for Nursing History, Foundation of New York State Nurses, Inc.” 
  • Photographs are issued for one-time use only. Photographs cannot be used on websites unless specific permission is granted.
  • Please send the Photograph Use Form to Deb Elliott at delliott@cfnny.org.

 

Oral History Fee

A use fee of $5 per oral history CD will be charged for the use of oral histories from the Bellevue Alumnae Center for Nursing History’s collections in a published or printed product. The use fee may be waived for students or researchers engaged in a not-for-profit activity such as scholarly research. Additional fees will be charged for the duplication of audiotape formats. The fee will be for a one-time use of the oral history and will be in addition to the cost of duplicating or scanning transcripts. The fee must be paid upon receipt of the duplicated prints or scanned files, not when they are actually used in the for-profit activity.

If the oral histories requested from the Bellevue Alumnae Center for Nursing History are to be used for commercial purposes, please indicate on the Use Form below. The patron assumes full responsibility for conforming to the copyright laws and for securing permission to use the oral history from the copyright holder. The Foundation of New York State Nurses Inc. holds the copyright for all oral histories in the collections from the Bellevue Alumnae Center for Nursing History unless otherwise stipulated.
